  • Sunday's contest was the season opener for both programs.
  • Gannon won 12 of 13 heats during the first four events and tied the other heat.
  • The Lady Knights swept the opening compulsory event, opening a 36.85-33.35 lead.
  • After sweeping the acro event, Gannon extended its lead to 66.25-59.30.
  • The Lady Knights won two of the three events in the pyramid, assuming a 95.55-87.55 edge. The heat they didn't win ended in a tie.
  • Gannon continued the opening run of sweeps by winning all three heats in the toss event to grab a 123.00-115.75 lead.
  • After winning four of the six tumbling passes, Gannon dominated the final team event by 15.5 points.

  • Gannon is ranked No. 9 in National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) preseason coaches' poll.
