Gannon University Athletics

Wagaman is expected to compete at the base or tumbler position for the third consecutive season in 2018.

2017: Named to the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Academic team … helped Gannon win the compulsory tumbling heat during a tri-meet against Adrian (Mich.) and Glenville State with a 9.4 score.

2016: Named National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Freshman of the Year, becoming the first Gannon acrobatics and tumbling student-athlete to receive a major national award … was part of 15 heat victories and four team routine wins … captured the tumbling triple pass, tumbling open pass, compulsory pyramid, compulsory toss, compulsory tumbling and toss synchronized heats two times each … added victories in the tumbling aerial pass, compulsory acro and toss two-element heats.

High School: Competed for head coach Shone Tagisferi at Leonardtown (Md.) High School … earned level eight, nine and 10 honors at the state championships … achieved level nine status at regionals … was a 10-time United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs (USAIGC) state qualifier … qualified for the regional championships at level nine and 10 two times each … was a two-sport athlete, being named the competitive cheer team's Most Valuable Player … served as a team captain for competitive cheer …received the Minds in Motion award three times … was a four-year member of the honor roll … earned the Athletics Strive Award for having a 3.25 grade point average or better.

Personal: Criminal Justice major … is the daughter of Elaine and Michael … has two sisters and two brothers.
