Series Notes: Gannon is up in the all-time series but Ashland has won the last three meetings against the Lady Knights. In 2012-13, Ashland defeated Gannon during the regular season, 70-59, and then again in the Elite Eight, 74-63. The two met back up in Ashland in 2014-15 with Ashland taking the game, 80-73.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE INFORMATION  GANNON STORYLINES
  • Gannon won its first game of the season, 67-57, at Cheyney on Sunday (Nov. 20).
  • Junior Maggie Mitchell (Newark, Ohio/Newark) recorded performances of 23 and 24 points against West Chester and Cheyney.
  • Mitchell leads the conference in 3-pointers made (19) and is second in free throws made with 27 (93.1%).
  • Senior Lanise Saunders (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) notched her second double-double of the season at West Chester, collecting 10 points and 14 rebounds.
  • Sophomore Kelsey Herbert (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds at West Chester and then scored a career-high 11 points at Cheyney.
  • The Lady Knights are averaging 41.4 rebounds per game, 4.8 rebounds more than their opponents.

     
ASHLAND STORYLINES
  • The Ashland Eagles are the third-ranked team in the country according to the WBCA Division II Coaches' Poll released on Nov. 22.
  • Junior Laina Snyder is leading the Eagles in points per game (18.3), rebounds per game (11.3) and steals per game (5.3).
  • Junior Andi Daugherty only needs 16 more points to reach 1,000 in her career.
  • The Eagles lead the country in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.07 assists/turnovers.
  • Ashland is averaging 102.3 points per game, second-most in the country, only behind Emporia State (104.7).
