THE SHORT STORY: The Gannon men's swimming team fell to both Indiana (Pa.) and Bloomsburg on Saturday in the final day of the Pidgeon Memorial Invitational hosted by Indiana (Pa.) at the Pidgeon Natatorium this afternoon and evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the first session of the day, Noah Donovan swam to his third PSAC qualifying time in the 100-yard butterfly and a sixth place finish with .53.62.
• Denys Fedorchenko swam to a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.00 and earned his first PSAC time in the event.
• In the second session of the day, Drew Wolter swam a personal best and a conference qualifying time of 10:17.91 in the 1000-yard freestyle to take home third place.
• Allan Collins earned a third place finish in the 200-yard backstroke and earned his first PSAC qualifying time in the event with a time of 1:58.41.
• Parker Kilstrom set a new personal best in the 100-yard freestyle with a conference time of .50.14 and took home sixth place honors.
• Denys Fedorchenko and Mike Lawrence both swam to PSAC qualifying times in the 200-yard breaststroke. Fedorchenko took home first with a time of 2:09.42, followed by Lawrence who took home fifth and swam personal best and earned his third PSAC time (2:16.15).
• Fedorchenko added another PSAC qualifying tim in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.71 and a third place finish.
• Cole Davis and Javier Ruisanchez finished sixth and seventh in the same event, with times of 2:01.20 and 2:03.89 both good enough for the PSAC.
