The Gannon women's basketball team completed a season sweep of rival Edinboro, 60-48, in a PSAC Western Division game at the Hammermill Center Wednesday evening. The Lady Knights hadn't swept Edinboro since the 2009-10 NCAA DII Final Four squad. Senior Jennie Thies recorded her 10th double-double of the season with a season/career-high 21 rebounds and added 17 points.

  • Gannon's offense ranks sixth averaging 69.9 points per game among PSAC teams. On the glass the Lady Knights are second in defensive rebounding (35.5) and fourth in offensive rebounding (40.7).
  • The Lady Knights are fourth among PSAC teams in field goal percentage (42.1), three-point field goal percentage (35.5) and are third in three-pointers made averaging 6.6 per game.
  • Senior Morgan Neighbors ranks sixth among PSAC players in scoring averaging 16.5 points per game and leads in three-point field goal percentage (44.2).
  • Neighbors ranks 29th all-time at Gannon with 895 points and eighth in three-pointers made with 157.
  • The Lady Knights defense is led by senior Jennie Thies, who ranks second in the PSAC averaging 12.6 rebounds per game. A Thies rank 13th all-time at Gannon with 580 total rebounds and is 16th with 239 rebounds this season.
  • Gannon recently fell in the D2SIDA Atlantic Region Media Poll to eighth out of 10 teams.

  • Indiana (Pa.) fell on Wednesday evening to PSAC and NCAA DII reigning National Champion California (Pa.), 57-44.
  • The Crimson Hawks look to avenge an 81-66 loss from earlier this season against Gannon.
  • Senior Leslie Stapleton played the entire 40 minutes against the Vulcans, as she picked up her seventh 20-point performance this season, including her fourth in the last five games.
