LAST PLAY:
Gannon traveled to the University of Dayton for an exhibition contest on Nov. 6. The Division I Dayton Flyers only trailed once, before defeating the Lady Knights 109-67.

EXTRA EXTRA:
  • Two Lady Knights dented the scoring column, senior Morgan Neighbors (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) led all scorers on both sides with 25 points. Sophomore McKenna Shives (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) posted 12 points, eight rebounds, while dishing out three assists.
  • Gannon shot 39.7 (23-58) from the field, 47.9 percent from three-point land and 58.8 from the free throw line.
  • The Lady Knights enters the regular season as receiving votes from the USA Today Sports  Division II Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll released on Nov. 3. The team is ranked fourth according to the Division II Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA) Atlantic Region Media poll that was released on Wednesday afternoon.
  • Gannon was also tabbed to finish tied for second place in the PSAC Western Division according to the league's preseason coaches' poll.

CENTRAL HEADLINES:
  • Central recently joined the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference this past June, after leaving the Great Midwest Athletic Conference at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season.
  • The Marauders were picked to finish fifth in the SIAC Western Division.
  • Central has four key returners coming into the 2015-16, including SIAC Preseason team selection Kourtni Perry, who averaged 12.0 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per contest.

LINCOLN HEADLINES:
  • Lincoln was tabbed to finish second in the CIAA Northern Division for the 2015-16 season.
  • The Lions 22-9 overall squad became the school's most winningest women's basketball team in school history, last season.
  • Lincoln led the CIAA in offensive rebounding (20.1) and was second in steals per game (12.1).
  • Tiera Pendleton was named the 2014-15 All-CIAA women's basketball Rookie team at the conclusion of the season; she averaged 7.1 points with 15 starts and recorded eight double-digit scoring games.
