The Short Story: The Gannon men's swimming team split action at the Grove City Tri-Meet Saturday hosted at the James E. Longnecker Pool on the campus of Grove City College. The Golden Knights defeated the host Wolverines, 186-101, and fell to Case Western Reserve, 180.5-99.5. The Golden Knights secured four first-place individual finishes and recorded 29 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-qualifying standards.

Top-Finishes:
- Senior Logan Bissell (Yorktown, Va. / York) earned a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a PSAC-qualifying time of 59.95. Bissell also posted a conference-qualifier in the 100-yard freestyle, recording a fifth-place performance (49.91).
- Leading the pack in the 50-yard freestyle was senior Adam Chrzanowski (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep), who secured the top time of 21.88 in the event to collect a conference-qualifying standard. Chrzanowski added PSAC times with a runner-up finish (4:54.00) in 500-yard freestyle and fourth-place showing (10:15.22) in the 1000-yard freestyle.
- Junior Denys Fedorchenko (Zaporizhia, Ukraine/Zaporizkiy Collegium #83) took first (2:00.30) in the 200-yard backstroke. Fedorchenko nabbed conference standards in three total events including his first-place performance in the 200-backstroke. The junior finished fifth in both the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.43) and 400-yard IM (4:25.18).
- Junior Mike Lawrence (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario / Notre-Dame-des-Grands-Lacs) recorded top honors (2:14.80) in the 200-yard breaststroke. Lawrence's second PSAC-qualifying time came in a fourth-place (4:22.62) performance in the 400-yard IM.
- Chrzanowski, Bissell, Fedorchenko and freshman Noah Donovan (Ellwood City, Pa. / Laurel Jr./Sr.) were part of the 200-yard medley relay team that touched first (1:36.93) to lead off the day's events.
