TRAVEL ITINERARY
Due to the travel itinerary, head coach Jim Brunelli was unable to complete his live-weekly in-studio interview. This week's show was on tape delay with his regularly scheduled time returning next week.

SCOUTING THE GANNON LADY KNIGHTS
Gannon has not competed in a multi-team Thanksgiving tournament since the California (Pa.) Tournament in the 2010-11 season when the team defeated both Molloy and Wilmington (Del). For the first time since the 2009-10 season, the No. 2 Gannon women's basketball team open the season with a 4-0 overall mark after defeating PSAC West Division opponent Seton Hill, 80-66, on Nov. 23, at the McKenna Center. Leading the Lady Knights' offense was junior Nettie Blake, who recorded team game-highs with 14 points and 10 rebounds en route to her second double-double of the season. Juniors Brittany Batts and Mollie Sebald each scored 11 points with Sebald setting a season game-high. Gannon's bench contributed 30 points to the team's total.

NATIONAL ATTENTION
Gannon entered the season ranked second in the USA Today Sports Division II Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll and the team remains in that same spot four weeks later. Dating back to 2011-12 season, the Lady Knights have been nationally ranked in 30 consecutive polls and have received votes in the national poll at some point during each of the last eight seasons.

SCOUTING THE CHAMINADE SILVERSWORDS
The Chaminade Silverswords are 0-2 on the season after falling to both Alaska, 76-60, and Alaska-Anchorage, 93-57, on home court at McCabe Gym. In recent action, the Silverswords struggled early against Alaska-Anchorage to fall behind 53-22 after the opening half. The Silverswords held Alaska-Anchorage to only a 40-35 advantage in the second half. Hannah Curtius led the Silverswords with 12 points followed by Angela Rigo with nine points. For the fifth consecutive season, the Silverswords  were chosen to finish last in the Pacific West Conference (PacWest) Preseason Coaches' poll. The Silverswords lost four of their top scorers entering this season, however six letterwinners return to the lineup.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Gannon will meet Chaminade for the first time in program history on Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. EST.

SCOUTING THE BYU-HAWAII SEASIDERS
The BYU-Hawaii Seasiders enter the Oahu Classic looking for their first win of the season. Holding a 0-3 overall record, the Seasiders have fallen to Alaska-Fairbanks and Alaska Anchorage twice. Danna Lynn Hooper and Jiashan Cui lead the Seasiders' offense. Hooper averages 15.7 points per game this season, while Cui has averaged 11.7 points. In the Pacific West Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Seasiders were selected to finish ninth overall. The Seasiders will be without Preseason All-PacWest selection Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo, who also plays volleyball. Head coach Craig Stanger is in his first season with the Seasiders after serving as the head men's basketball coach at Western Oregon for six previous seasons.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Gannon's meeting with Chaminade is not the only first meeting this week for the Lady Knights. On. Nov. 29, the Lady Knights will face BYU-Hawaii in their first meeting at 8 p.m. EST.

LOOKING AHEAD
Following Thanksgiving Break, the Lady Knights will return to PSAC West Division action when they travel to Slippery Rock on Wednesday, Nov. 27, as part of a conference doubleheader at 6 p.m. The Lady Knights hold a 27-9 all-time series lead over the Rock, winning the last five games.
