NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Implications
Top six teams in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region qualify; top two teams host subregionals and receive a first-round bye; PSAC and West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) Tournament champions receive automatic bids to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional. Gannon was ranked fourth in last week's NCAA Division II Atlantic regional rankings. Updated regional rankings are scheduled to be released later this afternoon.
Gannon-East Stroudsburg History
East Stroudsburg leads the all-time series 2-1, including a 3-2 home victory on September 15 that snapped Gannon's season-opening five-match win streak. The Warriors also became the first team to score against the Lady Knights this season during the sixth match of the year. Gannon earned a 1-0 shutout of East Stroudsburg last season during the only meeting between the two schools at Gannon University Field. East Stroudsburg posted a 3-2 home win during the first meeting in the series during the 2010 campaign.

East Stroudsburg is making its fourth PSAC Tournament appearance during the last six years. The Warriors advanced to the semifinals in 2007 and 2008 and fell at Kutztown, 4-1, in the quarterfinals during their most recent appearance in 2009.

East Stroudsburg will play in the PSAC Tournament for the eighth time in 19 seasons, and will look for its third conference title. The Warriors' program, which started under head coach Jerry Sheska in 1992, won the first-ever PSAC title awarded in 1994 and followed up with a championship in 1997.
