NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Implications
Top six teams in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region qualify; top two teams host subregionals and receive a first-round bye; PSAC and West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) Tournament champions receive automatic bids to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional. Gannon was ranked fourth in last week's NCAA Division II Atlantic regional rankings. Updated regional rankings are scheduled to be released later this afternoon.

Gannon-East Stroudsburg History

• Gannon broke the school record for victories with its 13th win of the season during the regular-season finale at Mercyhurst last Sunday. The previous record of 12 was set by the 1998 and 1999 teams.
• Gannon ranks sixth among all NCAA Division II programs in shutout percentage, blanking 11 of its 17 regular-season opponents.
• Seven different Lady Knights have scored game-winning goals - Valloud, Brueckner, Genetin, Kaitlyn Kissell, Justine Rodrigues, Sidney Morgan and Jordan Rickan.
• Brueckner ranks No. 2 among all NCAA Division II players in assists and assists per match. She ranks 15th nationally in points per match.
• Brueckner's 13 assists this season represent Gannon's single-season assist record, surpassing the previous mark set by Courtney Rowan in 2009 by four.
• Brueckner's 33 points equal the fourth-highest single-season total in school history, sitting six points shy of the school record set by Amanda Sharbaugh last season.
• Brueckner's 10 goals and Valloud's eight goals equal the sixth and 12th-highest single-season totals in school history, respectively.
• Maggie Brinkman's (0.39) and Sarah Geffel's (0.73) goals against averages are currently the two lowest single-season marks in school history.
• Geffel's six shutouts equal the fourth-highest single-season total in school history and are only two shy of the school record.

• East Stroudsburg will be making its first PSAC Tournament appearance since 2009.
• The Warriors are 3-3-1 against teams in the PSAC Tournament. They own victories against No. 2 West Chester, No. 3 Gannon and No. 5 Kutztown.
• East Stroudsburg is making its fourth PSAC Tournament appearance during the last six years. The Warriors advanced to the semifinals in 2007 and 2008 and fell at Kutztown, 4-1, in the quarterfinals during their most recent appearance in 2009.
• East Stroudsburg will play in the PSAC Tournament for the eighth time in 19 seasons, and will look for its third conference title. The Warriors' program, which started under head coach Jerry Sheska in 1992, won the first-ever PSAC title awarded in 1994 and followed up with a championship in 1997. The Warriors are 6-5-1 in 12 conference tournament games all-time.
