Head coach
Colin Petersen's squad returns 12 letterwinners and 10 starters from last year's 10-7-2 squad. The Lady Knights finished fourth in the PSAC Western Division with an 8-5-1 conference mark. The squad later played in the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in school history, falling to Indiana (Pa.) via penalty kicks in the first round.
Davis & Elkins will also be playing its first match of the regular season. The defending West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) regular-season champions were picked as the favorite to win the conference again this season according the league's preseason coaches poll. The Senators posted a 14-5 overall record and 10-0 conference mark last season.
Gannon leads the all-time series 2-0. The Lady Knights posted a 3-1 road victory during the last meeting in 2007.
