The Lady Knights return to action at the Bowie State Tournament after an idle week due to the NCAA Dead Period. The new regulation mandates a seven-day break from all athletic related activities. Gannon will face Bowie State on Wednesday, January 29 at 6 p.m. followed by a game against Virginia Union at 4p.m.

It will be the third meeting overall for Gannon and the Lady Bulldogs and the second in as many years. Last season Gannon handed Bowie State a 65-60 loss at the Clarion Classic Tournament. The Lady Knights also defeated Bowie State during the 1992-93 season by a score of 81-51.

Thurday's game will be the first meeting between Gannon University and Virginia Union. The Panthers are still searching for their first win of the 2010-11 season.

Gannon's last action came in a 57-52 win over Urbana, which served as the season's home opener. The Lady Knights original home opener against Central State was postponed from December 9 to February 7.
