ERIE, Pa. -
Brittany Tabron (Canton, Ohio/Canton Central Catholic) recorded her 23rd career double-double and
Shanna Thompson (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights) netted a career-high 18 points as the No. 4 Gannon women's basketball team rolled to a 75-59 victory against Indiana (Pa.) Saturday night at the Hammermill Center.
In the process, Gannon extended its regular-season win streak to 30 games. By the time the Lady Knights take the floor again Wednesday night against Edinboro, it will have been over a year since they suffered a regular-season loss. The squad's last setback came January 24, 2009 at IUP.
The victory also marked a milestone for head coach

Indiana (Pa.) never clawed closer than 12 points in the second half. Gannon assumed its biggest lead of 22 points on two different occasions. The first 22-point lead came on
Julie Kleber's (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern) lay-up with 10:27 remaining and the second came on Tabron's lay-up at the 5:07 mark.
Eryn Withers' three-pointer capped a 12-2 IUP blitz that cut the deficit to 69-57 with 2:04 to play. However, back-to-back three-pointers from
Kelsey McCoy (Sylvania, Ohio/Sylvania Northview) and

Thompson led all scorers with a career-high 18 points off the bench, hitting 9-of-12 shots. Tabron recorded her sixth double-double of the season and 23rd of her career with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
