ERIE, Pa. - The Gannon University women's soccer team hosts Clarion at Gannon University Field Wednesday, September 16. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

The Lady Knights beat Lock Haven 3-1 September 12 in their last contest. Freshman Kara Prokopchak (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek) scored and had an assist in the win. GU improved to 1-3 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division. 

The Golden Eagles have dropped four consecutive league matches after starting the season 3-0. Jill Miller leads the team with two goals and an assist in 2009. 

Gannon beat Clarion twice last season and has won five of six meetings in the schools' history.
