ERIE, Pa. - The Gannon men's soccer team begins its final homestand of the season Tuesday, October 13 against Alderson-Broaddus at Gannon University Field. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Gannon bring a 3-8-2 record into Tuesday's contest and will attempt to snap a six-match winless streak in the first of four consecutive home matches. The Golden Knights have dropped consecutive matches to Mercyhurst (2-0), Millersville (3-2) and Wheeling Jesuit (3-0). The squad is 1-4-1 at home this season.

Dan Howell (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) leads the Gannon scoring attack with seven goals, three assists and 17 points. The senior forward ranks sixth all-time at Gannon in assists (28), eighth in goals (35) and eighth in points (98).

Afrim Latifi (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) is second on the team in goals (5), assists (3) and points (13). Steven Boehmer (Dayton, Ohio/Carroll) has started 11 of 13 matches in goal, producing a 2.08 goals against average and .696 save percentage.

Alderson-Broaddus enters Tuesday's battle with a 5-6 record. The Battlers ride a two-match win streak into Erie after back-to-back home victories against Salem International (8-1) and Concord (3-1). The West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) squad is 2-2 on the road this season.

Senior Michael Wilson leads Alderson-Broaddus in goals (4) and points (10). Junior Michael McDermott has two goals, two assists and six points. Junior Neil Wright-Elliot has played the majority of minutes in goal, owning a 3.36 goals against average and .612 save percentage. All A-B stats are through nine matches and do not include the team's last two contests.
