ERIE, Pa. - The Lady Knight soccer team will face Mercyhurst at Gannon University Field Friday, October 2. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

GU (5-3-1, 3-3-1 PSAC) is on a five-match unbeaten streak, including a win over Wheeling Jesuit Tuesday, September 29. The 4-1 victory was Colin Petersen's 50th at Gannon, making him the winningest coach in program history. The Knights are sixth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Atlantic Regional rankings. 

Mercyhurst (7-3-1, 5-1-1 PSAC) has won three straight matches, including a 2-0 win at Ohio Valley September 29. The Lakers are eighth in Atlantic Regional rankings. The Hurst beat Gannon 1-0 at Mercyhurst Field September 2. 

Amanda Sharbaugh (Sarver, Pa./Knoch) leads GU with six goals this season. Taylor Hilinski has six scores for the Lakers.
