Petrella has started the 2021-2022 season with a bang, compiling an 8-1 record that includes last Saturday’s victory by fall over Fairmont State’s Davy Mundey in just 58 seconds. Joey also finished third at the Mount Union Invitational at 174 pounds and finished first in Pool E (also at 174) at last month’s Journeymen Classic with a 3-0 record. Petrella’s eight wins include three falls, two major decisions, and a technical fall.
