Turek went 2-0 last week, defeating a pair of wrestlers ranked among the region's top three. Ranked second in the NCAA Division II Super Region One, Turek defeated top-ranked Dave Fogle of Pitt-Johnstown and third-ranked Ryan Bohince of Mercyhurst. Fogle was also tabbed third in NCAA Division II. Turek extended his current win streak to nine, improving to 19-5 overall and 9-1 in dual competition. The redshirt junior avenged an earlier 7-2 loss to Fogel at the PSAC Championships and moved to 5-1 against the region's top six 125-pound wrestlers. He has not suffered a defeat since January 5.
