Stoczynski led the Gannon men's basketball team to a perfect week with a 66-65 road victory at Edinboro and 90-53 home decision over Lock Haven. The senior forward averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, two assists, and 1.5 steals in those two games. He posted a season-high 21 points against Lock Haven, hitting 7-of-11 shots. Stoczynski has averaged 13.4 points and 5.8 rebounds since becoming a starter five games ago. Against Edinboro, he made several big plays down the stretch as Gannon rallied from a 62-58 deficit in the final three minutes. Leading 63-62, Stoczynski first grabbed a loose ball off a Gannon steal with eight seconds remaining. Two seconds later with Gannon leading 64-62, he grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed free throw and was fouled. He then hit both free throws to put Gannon up 66-62 with five seconds left. Edinboro hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to account for the final 66-65 score. Against Lock Haven, Stoczynski scored 13 points in 12 minutes during the second half as Gannon out-scored the Bald Eagles 56-34 in the final 20 minutes.
