Anderson returns as Gannon’s starting second baseman in 2014 … transferred from Potomac State (W.Va.) College prior to the 2011-12 academic year … enters his redshirt junior campaign with a streak of 35 consecutive errorless games.

2013: Played in 32 games, starting 30 … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … was one of five Golden Knights to hit .300 or better … finished third on the team in doubles (7) … didn’t commit an error in 83 fielding opportunities, becoming the fourth player in the program’s modern era to play an entire season without an error … hit .385 (5-13) against left-handers, .317 (13-41) with runners on base and .346 (9-26) with runners in scoring position … reached base 50 percent (17-34) of the time when leading off an inning … drove home a run 62.5 percent (5-8) of the time with a runner on third base and less than two outs … had eight multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games … produced a five-game hitting streak March 8-24 … hit .500 (8-16) during the streak with two runs and two RBIs … ended the hit streak with three consecutive multiple-hit games … went 3-for-3 against California (Pa.) … hit .300 (10-30) during his final 10 contests … had a hit during five of the last six games … scored multiple runs in a game three times.

2012: Saw action in 13 games as a freshman, starting 11 … recorded his first career hit against Davenport on March 2, drilling a grand slam during the second game of a doubleheader … reached base 44.4 percent (4-9) of the time when leading off an inning … drove in a run all three times he came to the plate with a runner on third base and less than two outs … helped Gannon post a 6-2 record when he started at either second or third base … recorded a hit during three of his last six appearances … drew at least one walk during seven of the 13 games he played in.

2011 (At Potomac State College): Played for head coach Doug Little … was part of a team that finished third in the nation during the 2011 season … redshirted.

High School: Played for head coach Dave Buchanan at A.N. Myer Secondary School in Niagara Falls, Ontario … named team MVP as a senior … hit .380 during his final season … was a member of the Dean’s List as a freshman.

Personal: Criminal Justice major … is the son of Tammy and Derek … has one brother … is a member of the Gannon Criminal Justice Club.
