Lewandowski is expected to compete for a starting positon behind the plate in 2015 … transferred from Montgomery County (Pa.) Community College prior to the 2013-14 academic year.

2014: Saw action in 13 games during his first season at Gannon, starting 11 … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … started eight games at catcher and three in left field … batted eighth in the line-up eight times, seventh twice and ninth once … hit .333 (2-6) against left-handers … drove home a run during all three at-bats with a runner on third base and less than two outs … went 1-for-4 with one RBI against Rio Grande during his Gannon debut … finished 2-for-4 with one run, two RBIs and one double during the second game of a doubleheader against Slippery Rock … added a run and RBI during the opener against the Rock.

At Montgomery County: Played for head coach Lou Lombardo … named NJCAA Region 19 Male Student-Athlete of the Year … selected team MVP … received the Mustang Scholar-Athlete, the Randolph, the Al Owens Spirit and the Robert Zifchak Male Scholar-Athlete awards … earned All-Region 19 honorable-mention accolades … helped Montgomery County make back-to-back playoff appearances … made the Dean’s List with first honors every semester … received the NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement in 2012-13 … earned the NJCAA Region 19 Distinguished Scholar Athlete Academic Award during the 2012 Spring, the 2012 Fall and the 2013 Spring semesters.

High School: Played for head coach Rick Norwood at Lansdale Catholic (Pa.) High School … was a two-time All-Philadelphia Catholic League selection, being named to the first team as a senior and honorable-mention squad as a junior … helped Lansdale County qualify for back-to-back postseason appearances as a junior and senior … graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade point average … received first honors all four years … received the Excellence in Mathematics (Calculus) and Excellence in Sciences (Physics) distinctions.
