Lombardo is expected to compete for playing time as an outfielder or pitcher in 2014.

2013: Played in eight games as a true freshman … made his collegiate debut during a 5-4 victory against Ohio Dominican in the season opener … recorded his first career hit during a 15-2 win against Clarion … scored his first career run during a 9-7 victory at Indiana (Pa.) … drew a base on balls during both games.

High School: Played for head coach Tim Banks at General McLane (Pa.) High School … received the Rob Castello Scholarship given to the Best Athlete … named Region Player of the Year as a senior … selected to the all-district first team as a designated hitter … named to the all-region first team as a pitcher and second baseman … was a three-sport athlete, being named to the all-region first team as a guard in basketball, as well as a quarterback and defensive back in football … received the McLane Football Scholarship … helped General McLane win the Region 4 Championship in football and baseball as a senior … was part of a General McLane basketball team that won the region championship and finished runner-up in the district playoffs during his junior year … was part of a region and district championship basketball team as a sophomore … named to the honor roll three consecutive years … was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Management major … has two sisters … is the son of Janet and Joe.
