High School:  Played at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, where he played for head coach Jason Simmons … was named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Class 6A SENIOR All-State Team ... also earned All-MIC honors … played in nine games as a senior in 2022, totaling 59 receptions for 942 yards, a 16.0 yard average, with 9 TDs … the receptions and yards receiving both rank third in the season records … the Giants finished at 6-4, losing to Brownsburg in the Indiana Class 6A playoffs … as a junior caught 58 passes for 723 yards with 5 TDs to rank fourth in a season in receptions … part of a Ben Davis team that finished at 7-6 in 2021 but reached the semifinals of the IHSAA Class 6A state championships, losing to eventual state champion Central Grove … concluded career ranked third in career receptions (118) and third in yards receiving (1,667) with 14 TDs … played in the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference, reputed to be the toughest football conference in the Hoosier State.
