2023: True freshman saw first action in week number eight at Mercyhurst (10/21/23) … played in three games before suffering season-ending injury vs. California (Pa.) (11/4/23) … completed 32-of-61 passes for 419 yards with 3 TDs and 3 INTs … added 56 yards rushing and 2 TDs … led Gannon to win at Mercyhurst, throwing for two touchdowns and driving the Golden Knights down the field late in the game for the winning field goal with six second left in 31-28 win … a week later again led a late-game drive that resulted in a game-winning 51-yard field goal as time expired for 16-15 win … accounted for three touchdowns in debut at Mercyhurst, throwing for two and rushing for one while  throwing for 131 yards and gaining 59 yards on the ground … completed 12-of-22 passes for 129 yards with a touchdown rushing at IUP … was 12-of-19 for 159 yards and a touchdown vs. Cal before exiting the game. 

High School: Competed in three sports at Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Ind., including football for head coach John Hart … played four years of football, plus two years of basketball and track & field … named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Class 6A All-State team as a senior and earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior … was rated among the top quarterbacks in Indiana … originally committed to Western Illinois … led Brownsburg to a 10-2 record for the second straight year, falling to Cathedral 14-7 in the regional finals … completed 182-of-262 passes (69.5 pct.) for 2,548 yards with 18 TDs and just 6 INTs … added 436 yards and 8 TDs rushing on 54 carries … the Bulldogs reached the regional championship in 2021, as well, losing to Ben Davis to finish at 9-3 … completed 116-of-177 passes as a junior for 10 TDs and 5 INTs, adding 488 yards rushing on 75 carries with 7 TDs.     
 
Personal: Business major … son of Marisa and Jeffrey Whitaker … has one brother (Jaxson) and one sister (Juliana).
