Expected to compete in freestyle, fly and backstroke events … qualified for the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championships as part of the 400-medley relay team … holds the school records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.83), 500-yard freestyle (5:06.52) and 100 backstroke (59.82) … was part of relay teams that set the school record in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:37.42), the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:46.43) and the 400-yard medley relay (3:58.41).
High School: Swam for head coach Mike Bugara at Alliance (Ohio) High School … was a four-time state qualifier … recorded two top-eight finishes at the 2008 State Championships … was a four-time all-county selection … broke six county records … was a three-year team captain … broke nine school records … graduated in the top 10 percent of her class … served as the Class Vice President … was a member of the honor roll … selected as a class representative for the student senate.
