Grouios will compete for a spot on the mound … transferred from Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) member Mansfield prior to the 2008 season.

2010: Was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … tossed 2 2/3 scoreless innings at Lake Erie during his only appearance of the season … allowed only one hit while striking out two and walking one.

2009: Made seven appearances, starting three … was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … made his first appearance of the season against Lewis (Ill.) during Gannon’s spring trip, throwing 2 2/3 scoreless innings … struck out three and walked one while surrendering one hit against the Flyers … recorded scoreless relief outings against California (Pa.), Fredonia State and Lock Haven … tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings against Fredonia State, striking out two and giving up only one hit … concluded his season with a shutout inning against Lock Haven.

2008: Pitched in 10 games, starting two … recorded his first career victory March 2 against the University of Sciences, allowing one earned run in six innings of work ... tossed a scoreless inning of relief work May 3 against Hillsdale.

High School: Played for head coach Rob Greco at East York Collegiate (Ontario) Institute ... named team MVP as a senior ... was a three-sport athlete, lettering in baseball, hockey and football ... played for the Ontario Blue Jays under head coach Dan Bleiwas ... was a member of the honor roll ... was an Ontario scholar.
