Bergado returns as Gannon’s starting leftfielder … transferred from Finger Lakes (N.Y.) Community College prior to the 2009-10 academic year.

2010: Played in 40 games, starting 39 … finished second on the team in doubles (10) … was third among Gannon players in average (.325), hits (39) and on-base percentage (.426) … produced the 12th-highest single-season on-base percentage in school history … hit .361 (30-83) against right-handers, .300 (15-30) with runners in scoring position and .333 (11-33) with two outs … reached base 45.5 percent (15-33) of the time when leading off an inning … drove in a run 52.9 percent (9-17) of the time when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … recorded 11 multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games … produced a seven-game hitting streak March 24-28, equaling the second-longest on the team … recorded his first career hit at Gannon during the second game of the season, an 8-7 victory against Hillsdale … had a season-high three hits in four at-bats against West Virginia Wesleyan … produced a pair of hits in three consecutive games against Slippery Rock, finishing 7-of-12 with four runs and three doubles during the four-game series … ended the season with seven hits in his final 19 at-bats … had a hit in 27 of 40 games he played in.

At Finger Lakes Community College: Played for head coach Patrick Greer … named to the All-Region 3 first team … earned all-conference honors.

High School: Played for head coach Mike Sinnott at Penfield (N.Y.) High School … named to the all-county honorable-mention team … played in the Senior Exceptional Game … led Penfield to the Section V Finals in 2007.
