LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Seventeen Gannon University student-athletes have been named to the inaugural Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Spring Academic All-Conference Team, recognizing their success in both the classroom and athletic competition.

The Golden Knights were represented by student-athletes from baseball, softball, women's lacrosse, women's golf, and men's golf. The 17 selections mark Gannon's second-highest total of the academic year, trailing only the 19 student-athletes who earned Fall Academic All-Conference honors.

An additional 10 Golden Knights were recognized on the Winter Academic All-Conference Team, bringing Gannon's total to 46 honorees during the inaugural year of the PSAC's academic recognition program.

Gannon's success in the PSAC Academic All-Conference program is the latest example of the department's academic achievement during the 2025-26 academic year. The Golden Knights earned seven PSAC Scholar-Athlete selections and produced a PSAC Elite Scholar-Athlete of the Year recipient for the second consecutive year, continuing a tradition of excellence both in competition and in the classroom.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Spring Academic All-Conference Teams for 2026. In its first year, the awards program was created to recognize high-achieving student-athletes.

The Academic All-Conference teams have been adopted with the following requirements:
  • Undergraduate and graduate student-athletes must have completed four semesters academically at the nominating campus with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), based upon the most recent posting of grades prior to the award announcement as determined by the member campus.
  • Student-athletes must have met minimum participation requirements. For team sport selections, this includes playing in 70 percent of a team's contests through the conference championship date. Individual sports feature sport-specific participation requirements.
Recognition is based solely on meeting the above criteria.

In total, 382 student-athletes across all 17 PSAC institutions qualified for the Spring 2026 PSAC Academic All-Conference Teams.
