BEDFORD, PA - Gannon took seventh in a field of 15 teams to conclude the Bedford Spring Invite in Johnstown, PA. The Golden Knights had four players in the top 50 of the field and one in the top 15. 

Gannon will now prepare for the 2026 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional, also contested in Johnstown, PA, but held at a different course than this tournament. Sunnehanna Country Club will play host to the regional, from May 7th - May 9th. 

THE KNIGHTCAP - GANNON's TOP FOUR

Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) - The Swede was Gannon's top finisher for the tournament, shooting a two-over 74 for the second consecutive day. Seppanan finished 12th in a field of 93. With a 39 on the front nine, Seppanen would settle in on the back and birdie both the 12th (par four) and 13th (par five) holes. An even par 35 on the back led to the round of 74. 

Mario Estevez (Gijón, Spain/Colegio Montedeva de Gijón) - Estevez would have a round of 78 on Tuesday, including notching two birdies on the front nine. He would card a red number on the par three second hole as well as the par five ninth. He would shoot a 39 on both the front and the back, tying for 44th.  

Jacob Wolak (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock Area) -  Also tied for 44th, Wolak started the day on the back nine and would find a birdie at the 18th, shooting a two-over 38 to start his day. The southpaw would then birdie the long, 611 yard par five fifth en route to a total round score of 76. 

Mattia Parrini (Verolengo, Italy/Verolengo) - One of three Golden Knights in a tie for 44th, Parrini had the best individual score of the day for GU, carding a one-over 73 on the afternoon. He found a birdie on the par four 15th and then surged on the front. Two straight birdies on holes six and seven highlighted the round for Parrini, who shot an even par 37 on the front nine holes to end the tournament at nine over par.

Gannon will now prepare for the 2026 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, PA. The competition will commence from May 7th - 9th.
