ERIE, PA - Gannon's Dexter Jones (Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne) was named the PSAC Swimming Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the conference on Tuesday. 

Jones anchored Gannon's distance events in the 170–118 win over Penn State Behrend, helping the Golden Knights improve to 6–1 on the season.

Jones captured the 1000 Free with a time of 10:09.88, one of the top swims of the meet, and later added a fourth-place finish in the 500 Free (5:07.33). He also contributed relay legs in both the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay.

Gannon is preparing for PSAC Championships, to be held from February 18th-21st in York, PA.
