LOCK HAVEN, PA - Gannon junior Mattia Parrini (Verolengo, Italy/Verolengo) has been named the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week, it was announced Wednesday by the conference. This is the second straight week that he has been awarded either co-athlete or athlete of the week. 

Parrini followed up his first place performance a week ago by finishing second at one-under par at the Findianapolis Intercollegiate, the only Gannon golfer to finish under par. 

The junior finished tied for second second in the individual field by carding a round of one-under 71 on Tuesday. Parrini was one of only three golfer to finish under par for the tournament. HIs round culminated in a strong first nine, where he shot and two-under 34, includes birdies on the 17th and 18th holes. 

Gannon took third at a team in the tournament.
