THE KNIGHT CAP

  • How Swede It Is ... Again! - Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) is on another level at the moment. After sitting in the top five after day one, he book ended his final round with birdies en route to a first place tie on the individual leaderboard. He was one of two players to shoot under par. Seppanen and Ashland's Mark Pillar dueled in a playoff for medalist honors. Both parred the first playoff hole, the par-4 1st hole, before Pillar won with a birdie on the second playoff hole, number 18, a par-5.
  • Gio Right There - Giovanni Delorenzi (Reggio Emilia, Italy/International School of Modena) also ended the day in the top five. After a double on 15, the Italian birdied the final hole to end in a tie for fourth (+3).

  • Depth on Display - Kyle Westfall (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy (Erie)) and Mattia Parrini (Verolengo, Italy/Verolengo) each cracked the top 65, with Parrini ending T-48 (+15) and Westfall shooting 19 over to place 62nd.
