NORMAN, Okla. – Gannon University men's golfer
Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) has been named an Honorable Mention NCAA Division II PING All-American, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

The recognition marks the second consecutive year Seppanen has earned PING All-America honors, making him a two-time All-American.
The PING All-America teams are selected annually by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and recognize the top NCAA Division II golfers in the nation.
The organization has named Division II All-Americans since 1975, with PING serving as the award sponsor since 1991. The 2026 teams included eight First Team selections, eight Second
Team honorees, eight Third Team recipients, and 28 Honorable Mention selections.
Seppanen was one of 28 golfers recognized on the Honorable Mention team.
A redshirt junior from Båstad, Sweden, Seppanen appeared in all 13 tournaments for the Golden Knights during the 2025-26 season and finished with a team-best 72.7 scoring average across 34 rounds.
He recorded five top-five finishes and seven top-10 performances while helping Gannon capture six tournament championships, claim the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional title and advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
Seppanen was at his best during postseason competition. He led Gannon at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional, finishing runner-up after carding rounds of 67, 72 and 70 for a 1-under-par 209.
One of only two golfers in the 116-player field to finish under par, Seppanen advanced to a six-hole playoff before ultimately finishing second.
His performance helped the Golden Knights capture the regional championship and secure a berth in the NCAA Division II National Championships.
His season included a third-place finish at the UC Invitational, a tie for first at the Midwest/Central Regional Preview, a runner-up finish at the Howard "Bud" Elwell Invitational and a ninth-place finish at the PSAC Championships.
In addition to being named the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Year and earning First Team All-PSAC honors, Seppanen became a two-time Division II PING All-Region selection and a two-time PING All-American with this year's recognition.
