Women's Cross Country Adds Five Runners in 2025

ERIE, Pa. – Gannon women's cross country coach Rob Ahrens enters the 2025 campaign, his fourth at Gannon, with nine members returning from the 2024 edition. Four of those returnees were freshmen a year ago and now he has announced the addition of five first-year runners to his program.

"I'm thrilled to share that we have an exciting group of student-athletes joining us this year who will make big contributions both athletically and academically," related Ahrens. "This group will give us added depth in our roster this season and set a course for a bright future during their time as Golden Knights. I'm expecting our women's team to take a big step forward this fall and these runners will play a big role in making that happen!"

Gannon opens the 2025 season hosting the Race in the Park in Fairview, Pa. on Friday, September 5.
