ERIE, Pa – Gannon University's Troy Croscut-Miller (North East, Pa./North East) is the recipient of the PSAC Champion Scholar Award for Men's Soccer in the fall of 2025. 

Croscut-Miller, an Exploratory Business major, currently carries a 4.00 GPA. The junior was presented with the award prior to the start of the PSAC Championship tournament at McConnell Family Stadium. Gannon is one of four teams that begin the semifinals of the conference tournament on Friday.

Initiated for the 2011-12 academic year, the PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 awards and honor the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's 22 team championship finals. 

The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is nearly identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions - I, II and III.

Student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

1. Must have completed at least 48 credit hours (which could include accepted credits from previous institutions).

2. Must be utilizing at least his/her second year of eligibility as a student-athlete at your institution.

3. Is an active member on the team's roster and a member of the squad competing in the respective PSAC Championship.

Croscut-Miller becomes the third Golden Knight men's soccer student-athlete to receive a PSAC Champion Scholar award. Previously, James Randall (2019-20) & Joshua Ott (2017-18) were selected from Gannon.
