Golden Knights Hold Maroon-Gold Wrestleoffs

ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon men's wrestling team held its annual Maroon-Gold Wrestleoffs on Saturday at the Recreation & Wellness Center. The wrestleoffs featured 18 wrestlers at six weight classes trying to impress head coach Tom Boyd and his staff one last time before the season begins. The Golden Knights take to the mat for real on Saturday, Nov. 1 in the Mount Union Invitational.

In most instances Boyd was assessing the depth of what looks to be a very strong team. However, starting jobs are open in the short term at 149 and heavyweight with today's competition helping to determine a potential starter.
