After guiding the Golden Knights to a team title at the Sunnehanna Collegiate, Giovanni Delorenzi (Reggio Emilia, Italy/International School of Modena) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Golfer of the Week.

Delorenzi tied for second overall in the 96-golfer field and was the top finisher among PSAC competitors, carding a 2-under-par 208 (67-70-71). His opening-round 67 marked his third round in the 60s this fall.

The Golden Knights topped the 19-team field with a score of 854, five strokes ahead of the host Mountain Cats and Wheeling. All five Gannon starters placed inside the top 50, with Delorenzi pacing the lineup with his runner-up finish.

The honor marks the second time this season a Golden Knight has earned PSAC Golfer of the Week.
