The Gannon University men's swimming team secured the Malone Invitational title by finishing in first place among 14 competing teams, concluding their 2024 slate.
Oberlin claimed second place with 1,197 points, while Fairmont State took third with 636.5 points.
Throughout the three-day event, all 14 teams combined to accumulate a total of 7,616 points.
On the final day of competition, the Golden Knights achieved eight first-place finishes.

Gannon will begin its 2025 schedule on Jan. 11, when it competes against Niagara in New York. The dual meet with the Purple Eagles will start at 1 p.m. inside the Oxy Aquatic Center.
