DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Gannon University's Competitive Cheer and Dance team concluded the 2022 NCA & NDA Collegiate National Championships with a fourth-place finish in Hip-Hop Dance, improving on last year's fifth-place finish. The Knights finished the preliminaries of Hip-Hop Dance in fifth place on Day Two of the competition with a performance score of 87.1429 and overtook Limestone University in the standings for Saturday's finals with an event total of 88.3714. The overall champion, Valdosta State, scored a 94.8286 to secure first place.
Gannon has only competed in the Hip-Hop Dance category for two seasons.
