YORK, Pa. – Gannon turned in five top-5 finishes and earned All-PSAC honors in three events on day two of the PSAC Swimming Championships on Thursday in York, Pa. Gannon finished third in the 200 freestyle relay, 400 IM and 200 freestyle to earn all-league honors in each event.
 
Gannon remains in third place in the team standings with 277 points. The Knights trail West Chester (393) and Bloomsburg (305) atop the leaderboard.
 
The evening began with Gannon taking third in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:22.72. It was Gannon's second top-3 finish in a relay event after finishing third in the 800 freestyle relay on Wednesday night on day one of the championship.

Connor Hebert (Damascus, Md./Damascus), 
Justin Decheck (Plum, Pa./Plum) and 
Stephen McCallum (Cape Town, South Africa/Wynberg Boys') clocked the Gannon time to open today's meet.
 
The first individual event of the day was the 400 IM, which featured five Gannon finalists. Freshman 
Hiyan Kubagawa (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led the Gannon contingent by taking third place and earning All-PSAC recognition in the event with his time of 4:04.05. 
Andrew Beyer (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) took fifth in the A-final, while 
Ryan Barclay (Knoxville, TN/Bearden) took sixth and 
Seth Butler (Maineville, Oh./Little Miami) finishing seventh. 
Ethan Spradlin (Findlay, Ohio/Findlay) swam in the B-final and finished 15
th in the event.
 
In the 100 butterfly, 
Justin Decheck (Plum, Pa./Plum) was fourth to touch the wall in the A-final with a time of 49.31. 
David Gallion (Arlington, Va./Homeschooled) finished fourth in the event's B-final with a time of 50.75 and finished 12
th overall in the event.
 
In the final individual event of the day, Gannon's McCallum nabbed All-PSAC honors with his time of 1:40.92 to finish third in the 200 freestyle. It was McCallum's second top-5 finish of the 2022 PSAC swimming championships. Beyer competed in the B-final of the 200 free and finished 13
th with a time of 1:44.07 for the Knights.
 
Swimming continues on Friday with five events: the 500 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly, and the 200 medley relay.
