ERIE, Pa. – Emma Hall (women's volleyball) and Ke'John Batiste (football) have earned Gannon University Student-Athletes of the Week honors for the week ending Nov. 15, 2022. The Gannon Student-Athlete of the Week Award is sponsored all year long by Chick-fil-A of Erie.
 
Hall, a sophomore from Lowell, Mich., tallied 25 digs and tied a season-high with six assists in last Sunday's five-set victory over Clarion in the 2022 PSAC Championship Game. The Golden Knights claimed the third PSAC volleyball title in program history and continue to ride a 14-match win streak in addition to 20 wins in the last 21 matches. The Knights now advance to the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Atlantic Regional as the top seed and face No. 8 seed Elizabeth City State (N.C.) in the first round this Friday, Nov. 18 at 5:00 p.m.

Batiste, a redshirt junior from Covington, La., set a new Gannon school record with 957 receiving yards this season. He hauled in nine receptions for 112 yards and two touchdowns last Saturday against Shippensburg, which was his fifth 100-yard performance of the season. Batiste totaled eight touchdowns in 11 games played in 2022.
