Personius finishes 17th, Knights earn seventh place at Bill Lennox Invitational

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. –  The Gannon University men's cross country team earned seventh place at Slippery Rock University's Bill Lennox Invitational, with sophomore Ely Personius (Buffalo, N.Y./Amherst Central) (26:50, 17th place) completing the 8K course as the Golden Knights' highest finisher. Other top 50 Gannon runners included Gavyn Hansotte (New Castle, Pa./New Castle) (27:45, 33rd), Luke Malena (Medina, Ohio/Cloverleaf) (27:59, 39th), John Insinna (Clarence Center, N.Y./Clarence) (29:04, 45th), and Jeremiah Vezza (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield) (30:34, 48th.)
 
Concord's Isaac Prather was the first to cross the finish line (in 24.38) and his team also claimed the overall team win with a total of 38 points, ahead of second-place Slippery Rock's 70 points. The race featured 84 total competitors.
