EVENT NOTES
  • Luus wasted no time getting onto the Gannon Top 10 board in his first career meet, with his 51.33 in the 100 back falling in at No. 6. The freshman was also part of the Golden Knights' two winning relays.
  • McCallum also had a stellar start to his Gannon career, notching a pair of individual wins and also teaming up for the two firsts in relays for four total victories on the night.
  • Alex Deemer (Connoquenessing, Pa./Butler Area) finished runner-up in both the 500 and 1000 free, including coming in just over a second behind the winner in the 500.
  • Campbell took a razor-thin competition in the 1-meter dive, with his 208.80 giving him the win by just 0.75 points.
