Schedule Additions Announced For Basketball, Wrestling, Swimming, Water Polo

ERIE, Pa. — Gannon finalized and announced a number of events Tuesday for various Golden Knight teams, including men's water polo, men's and women's wresting, men's and women's basketball and swimming and diving
 
No fans will permitted at events hosted by Gannon. All home contests will be available for live streaming here.
 
Men's water polo will kick off its delayed 2020 season with a pair of matches this Saturday, Jan. 23 in Morgantown, West Virginia, taking on Salem and Mount St. Mary's at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. The Golden Knights' five-game Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference West Division schedule had been previously announced.
 
Women's wrestling has also confirmed its season opener, as the Knights will head to Michigan for the Adrian College Women's Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 24, starting at 10 a.m.
 
Men's wrestling will have its first home action of the season next week, welcoming in Edinboro for a 7 p.m. matchup on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at the Hammermill Center. Gannon also announced a matchup with Mercyhurst at the Hammermill Center on Wednesday, Feb. 10, with that dual also kicking off at 7 p.m.
 
Swimming and diving will get its 2020-21 season underway on Friday, Jan. 29, traveling to Youngstown State for a 4 p.m. dual. The Golden Knights also announced matchups against PSAC foes Clarion and Indiana, heading to Clarion on Saturday, Feb. 6, making the trip to IUP the following Saturday, Feb. 13, and hosting IUP at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion on Saturday, Feb. 20.
 
Women's basketball also added to it's schedule, looking to improve on its 2-0 mark. The Knights head to Roberts Wesleyan for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Tuesday, Jan. 26, then head home to host Daemen at the Hammermill Center on Friday, Jan. 29 in a 6 p.m. start. The following Sunday, Jan. 31, Gannon returns the trip to Daemen in a noon start.
 
Men's basketball will also add a home-and-home series with Daemen, heading to Amherst, New York on Jan. 29 for a 6 p.m. start, before hosting the Wildcats on Jan. 31, tipping off a 2 p.m. from the Hammermill Center. The Golden Knights also added the second half of their series with D'Youville, announcing a home game at the Mill on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m.

All athletic events will follow guidance from Gannon University's Return To Campus Plan, Gannon Athletics' Return To Play Plan, the NCAA's Resocialization of Collegiate Sport, and all state and local government regulations.
