The Golden Knights (0-4) travel to the Sunshine State for an eight-game road swing and will face six teams from three different conferences. Gannon will begin the trip against Tiffin on Sunday at Chain O'Lakes Stadium at 12:30 p.m. The Knights opened the season dropping back-to-back doubleheaders at Tusculum on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15. Ian Hess (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillian) paced Gannon with a team-high five RBI, four hits, two runs and one home run.

The Knights are back in action this week with a 10-game slate at the Florida Spring Games. Action starts on Saturday as Gannon takes on their first two opponents in Georgian Court and Tiffin. All three teams are fighting for their second wins on the year. On day two, the Knights will take on West Virginia Wesleyan and Wheeling followed by Grand Valley State and No. 12 St. Anselm on Tuesday. St. Anselm is off to a perfect start with a 7-0 record on the season heading into the Spring Games. Gannon gets a day break on Wednesday before returning to action on Thursday with a pair of games vs. Holy Family and University of the Sciences. Holy Family will open the 2020 season here, while USciences is 0-4 entering the tournament. The final day of the Spring Games will be on Friday with games vs. Charleston and Fairmont State. Charleston enters the tournament 8-0, while FSU is 0-4.

The Knights will head to the first-ever national championships exclusively for NCAA schools for its final event of the season. A full preview of the national championships will be available later this week.

Off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2011, the Knights look to keep their momentum rolling through the rest of their spring break trip. It will be a tall task from the start, as they face off against No. 12 East Stroudsburg in a nonconference matchup Sunday. The Warriors, who reached the region final last season, are 2-0 early on this year after a win over No. 14 Saint Leo Friday. Gannon wraps up its road trip at Lynn on Wednesday, where they'll face off against a Fighting Knights team that is 0-2 thus far, with a matchup against Davis & Elkins on deck Monday.

Gannon will make its own spring break trip, and while the weather will be nice, the competition will be tough, as the No. 5 Knights will face off against a pair of top-six foes, including top-ranked and four-time defending national champion Baylor. The Bears are 3-0 on the season, and are coming off their top score of the season in a win over No. 2 Oregon. Gannon then hops on a plane to Hawaii, where it will take on the No. 6 Sharks, whose two defeats have come to Oregon and fourth-ranked Azusa Pacific.
 
Competitive Cheer And Dance Gets Busy Stretch Started With Upstate Collegiate Championship

Gannon begins a run of four consecutive weekends of competition when the Knights head to Elmira. Both all-girl and coed are coming off of titles at the Reach the Beach competition, while gameday put up solid scores while competing uncontested.
