  • Mercyhurst tied it in the bottom of the second with a solo-blast from Matt Schneider.
  • Two walks and a double loaded the bases for Mercyhurst in the bottom of the third. Kenneth Robinson came to the plate and lashed a two-out single up the middle. Mercyhurst led, 3-1.
  • Quiceno played long-ball in the fifth inning. He cleared the fences with a solo home run to pull Gannon back within 3-2.
  • Nate Cardy (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) had a lead-off single in the top of the sixth inning but the Golden Knights couldn't bring him around.
