ERIE, Pa. - Mother Nature will be the lone winner on Friday, March 31 as both the Gannon softball and baseball doubleheaders have been postponed due to inclement weather.
The Gannon softball team was slated to play a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) doubleheader at Mercyhurst. The games have been rescheduled for Sunday, April 2 at the Mercyhurst softball field. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Lady Knights' conference twinbill against Seton Hill scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at McConnell Family Stadium remains intact with a start time of 1 p.m.
The Gannon baseball team was expected to host Indiana (Pa.) Friday afternoon in a PSAC doubleheader at McConnell Family Stadium. That four-game series will now begin Saturday, April 1 at IUP's Owen Dougherty Field. Game one is slated for 1 p.m. Friday's postponed contests have been rescheduled for Sunday, April 2 with another 1 p.m. start time at McConnell Family Stadium.
