ERIE, Pa. - Gannon University is asking you to help name its new mascot. The new Golden Knight mascot made its debut last season and can be seen at events around the Gannon campus and Erie surrounding community throughout the year.

Gannon's former mascot Drake retired last season and a new mascot was put to the test. He passed with flying colors and is now in need of a name. For a video detailing the events, please click here.

Five names have been selected for the final ballot - Storm E Knight, Mack the Knight, Sir Golden (Goldy) Knight, Sir Victor E. Knight and Luckey Knight.

Voting begins September 23 and concludes October 28. The selection committee will unveil the name Thursday, November 3 at the student celebration during Dr. Taylor's Presidential Inauguration events.
