The Gannon football team continues a three-game homestand Saturday, September 17 against Millersville at Gannon University Field. Game time is scheduled for 12 noon. Gates will open at 11 a.m.
There will be free admission to all fans Saturday afternoon as part of Ali's Rally Organ Donor Awareness Day. However, those wishing to make financial donations can do so at one of the Ali's Rally Foundation tables near the entrance of Gannon University Field. All proceeds from the game will benefit the Ali's Rally Foundation, which is near and dear to the Gannon football program as Ali's brother Kevin plays for the Golden Knights. Kevin is a redshirt freshman this season and competes as an offensive lineman. For more information on the Ali's Rally Foundation or Ali's Rally Organ Donor Awareness Day, please

Gannon looks to snap a season-opening two-game losing streak and will try to avoid losing its first three games for the first time since 2007. The Golden Knights have played two clean games from an officials' perspective, ranking second among PSC teams in fewest penalty yards per game (41.0). True freshman
Justin Caliste leads the PSAC and ranks fifth among all NCAA Division II players in punt return average (25.17).
Millersville enters the contest with a 1-1 record after a 21-20 victory at Lock Haven last Saturday. The Marauders are in the midst of a season-opening five-game road swing. The PSAC Eastern Division club earned a 29-26 home victory against Gannon last season during the first-ever meeting between the two schools. The Marauders scored the game-winning touchdown with 1:06 left in regulation.
