Costa Named PSAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gannon's Bryson Costa (Windber, Pa./Windber Area) today was named the PSAC West Special Teams Player of the Week. The conference announced its weekly honors on Monday afternoon. Costa is the second Golden Knight named the Special Teams Athlete of the Week. Damario Moore (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) was honored after the win over Slippery Rock.

Costa turned in a strong showing in the Golden Knights' season-ending 49-28 loss at Lock Haven on Saturday. The sophomore handled both the punting and placekicking chores. He punted four times for a 45.8 yard average with a long of 60 yards. Two of his punts pinned the Bald Eagles inside the 20 and he had two punts of 50-or-more yards.

In addition, Costa was a perfect 4-for-4 on extra point attempts.
