ANN ARBOR, Mich.- The Gannon women's water polo team lost to Iona 14-4 Sunday to end action at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

The Gaels went up 2-0 after one and led 5-1 at halftime. Iona held control in the second half, outscoring GU 9-3. 

Sarah Anderson (Erie, Pa./McDowell), Colleen Harriger (Erie, Pa./McDowell), Annie Greenhill (Brea, Calif./Brea Olinda), and Kelly Steininger (Vernon Hills, Ill./Vernon Hills) each scored a goal for the Lady Knights in the loss. 

Gannon fell to 3-13 with the defeat. The Knights host Penn State-Behrend Wednesday, March 17, at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
